Where Stadium does best in Austin
Stadium is the Zoysia for heavy, sustained use. It wants 6 to 8 or more hours of sun, more than Palisades or Zeon, and its foot traffic tolerance is very high, on par with the toughest Bermudas we carry. Drought tolerance is medium to high, and it needs less water than Bermuda: about 1 inch a week in summer, watered deeply and not too often. It fits large properties, commercial sites and busy yards where you want a Zoysia look without Bermuda-level upkeep.
How much Stadium Zoysia do you need?
One pallet of Stadium Zoysia covers about 450 sq ft. Measure the area in square feet, divide by 450 and round up, then add 5 to 10% for cuts around beds, trees and curves. A 2,000 sq ft yard, for example, comes to 5 pallets before that extra. Our delivery minimum is 1 pallet, brought out on a flatbed.
